Collaboration can turn hydrogen, carbon dioxide and electricity into fuels, chemicals and new products. Biogenic carbon dioxide streams from the forest industry, process experience and energy companies provide foundations for P2X projects. The industrial network across Lappeenranta and the Imatra region supports both production project preparation and enabling technology development. Opportunities include electrolysis, carbon capture, gas processing, equipment, measurement and automation. Electricity availability, flexible energy use and grid connection arrangements are central to assessing production locations.   ## LUT connects processes and energy systems LUT’s P2X laboratories support experimental development, while energy and electrical engineering research helps assess process efficiency and controllability. LAB’s applied development and Sampo’s technical education complement these capabilities. Soletair Power, Syncron Tech and UPM illustrate regional carbon capture, software and process expertise. The Finnish Hydrogen Valley association and Greenreality Network connect companies and developers. Soletair Power contributes carbon capture technology and Syncron Tech production management expertise. Preparation of Solar Foods’ Factory 02 connects hydrogen and carbon dioxide utilisation with new production. Greenreality Network and the Finnish Hydrogen Valley association bring together companies and developers. Metalreality Network adds equipment manufacturing and subcontracting capabilities. These networks help identify partners for process development, energy solutions and industrial implementation. ## Find partners for your next project The bioeconomy and circular economy contribute carbon and material streams, digital expertise supports production optimisation, and metal companies provide equipment and structures. Useful heat recovery and shared infrastructure can connect projects across industries.
